2 in 1!!

I am really in love with this book, but the last time i tried to explain it, people got confused and thought it was some weird book
so i am going to give you the synopsis from Amazon:

There is nothing lonelier than a cat who has been loved, at least for a while, and then abandoned on the side of the road.

A calico cat, about to have kittens, hears the lonely howl of a chained-up hound deep in the backwaters of the bayou. She dares to find him in the forest, and the hound dares to befriend this cat, this feline, this creature he is supposed to hate. They are an unlikely pair, about to become an unlikely family. Ranger urges the cat to hide underneath the porch, to raise her kittens there because Gar-Face, the man living inside the house, will surely use them as alligator bait should he find them. But they are safe in the Underneath...as long as they stay in the Underneath.

Kittens, however, are notoriously curious creatures. And one kitten's one moment of curiosity sets off a chain of events that is astonishing, remarkable, and enormous in its meaning.
Kathi Appelt spins a harrowing yet keenly sweet tale about the power of love -- and its opposite, hate -- the fragility of happiness and the importance of making good on your promises.

This book is very emotional. there are multiple stories that come together in the end and i tried reading it 2 other times, but i never understood it. This last time when i read it, i was mature enough to get the themes in it and it is the first book to ever make me cry...no joke. I highly suggest this book. It isn't very popular like the hunger games or something like that, but i truly suggest it. Very deep.

ALSO
with the whole reviewing thing on my mind, i saw the avengers last night, which i had been preparing for by watching every one of the superhero's movies (iron man, iron man 2, captain america, hulk, thor) and ill review them shortly:

Iron man/Iron man 2: I loved these!! The beginning is the kind of thing where you have to have a strong stomach for the cruelty and truth that it reveals, but more than anything, these are funny. When expecting this man to be a hero, you would expect a selfless guy, but really, you get a bit of a jerk...either way, the humor makes it.

Captain America: He's got heart, but his "powers" came from a science experiment. He got lucky and ended up saving his country, and his world. The end is heartbreaking, and somewhat confusing, but this was the first superhero movie, and i loved it.

Hulk: Really cool. The CGI is awesome and i really felt bad for this guy...different actor than the avengers which kind of stinks though...

Thor: Although you need to see this before watching the avengers, i hated it so much. its plot was messy and bored me...the whole thing was weird, but necessary.

THE AVENGERS: i really enjoyed it. They all come together and fight more with each other at first, but they soon begin to work together and this tactic makes them 10x more powerful. It has great CGI again and the plot is awesome. If you're looking for humor, Iron man delivers again, but the hulk is also has his moments too. Very cool...I know im supposed to be a girly girl, but i have a lot of boys in my family so i end up watching these movies and loving them!

Happy reading and watching!
