I was looking back through the blog the other day and found
this post. I noticed that this outfit i wore in September was a but shabby so i did some editing and voila: A brand new outfit, inspired by the original, was born!

Tee: Gap, Scarf: American Eagle, Shorts: Gap, Belt: Target, Sandals: unknown (similar here) |
I do have trouble with this tee...the blue seems to be tricky to match. The fit of the tee itself is semi boxy and the coloring is not common and too bright to be a neutral. this presents and challenge, obviously. This is one of the few times I've worn it and i think that it doesn't look half bad
That brings us to these shorts: last night, they were a pair of flare jeans. After noticing how short the jeans were on me (i'm a tall girl), I snipped the legs off to the exact length i wanted them and it cost me $0.00. Not a bad deal considering how expensive clothes are becoming.
I suggest looking through your jean collection and finding jeans that you don't adore the fit of. Take a pair of scissors and re-create them as you wish. It may seem weird but it works for me and i love these shorts...testimony, right there.
What is your opinion of cutoff denim (if done right)?
