Happy Fourth of July everyone! Although I am
out of the country, I can still hear freedom ringing. I hope everyone enjoys
some hot dogs/hamburgers, relaxes by the pool or in their back yards, and
watches all the fireworks light of the night sky.
On
July 4, 1776 the founding fathers approved the final copy of the Declaration of
Independence, listing all the grievances inflicted upon them by the British
government, and established the unique American identity. YAY AMERICA!
Here are a couple easy recipes if
you’ve neglected to take on any responsibilities because it’s summer (like me):
I. Strawberry & Blueberry Trifle

Fresh fruit, whipped cream, and angel cake- what more could you need? This can also be made earlier than served which makes for some yummy leftovers.
II. Red, White, and Blue Popsicles
Who says it's just kids who love popsicles? These patriotic treats, made with food dye, watermelon, coconut, and blueberry, are sure to be a crowd pleaser for all ages.

Popcorn is amazing as is, but red, white, and blue popcorn has got to be one of the best things I've seen. Sunshine and snacks, yum!
And here are some last minute Fourth of July DIYs:
All you need is some red and blue paper and some glue!
II. Tie Dye Shirts
III. Printables (yay!)

I hope
everyone in the USA has a fantastic day. Here’s to 239 years of freedom!
