Almost Normal!! Kind of...

(Tee: vintage, Jeans: Talbot's, Sneakers: Target, Jacket: Old navy, Belt: vintage, Bangles (bottom to top): Vintage, both homemade, J.Crew, Forever 21, and Cape Cod, Earrings: Made with love by a crafty friend)

Well today was much more dreary than yesterday and because of that, i wore a trench
That plus a tee, bf jeans, and converse? What am i playing at?
Well, i am trying to dress "normal". This person always asks me why i dress so fashionably abnormal, and this is his definition of normal: tee shirt, sneakers, jeans. Boring
So i spiced it up with a trench for a rainy day and a large stack of bangles. now, i admit, i think i have an addiction to bracelets. I just love them! i stack them up whether they look good or not sometimes and never leave the house without one! Do you have a jewelry preference or addiction? Whether it be watches, necklaces, earrings, broaches, whatever.
And last but not least, you may be wondering why i am wearing a summery Florida tee shirt. I have an answer to that too! I am currently in the process of switching seasons for my closet from summer to winter. Because it's only EARLY October, i want to squeeze in these last couple summer items before they are gone for a few months. Not to mention, people in my school are already wearing uggs!! My poor eyes...
Anyways, embrace some warmth and then tackle the cold weather!

Ps, sorry for all of the late posts lately...being busy is my forte :)

Finally Fall

(Sweater: Target, Sleeveless Button-Down: H&M, Jeans: Aeropostale, Flats: American Eagle, Bracelets: Vintage, Baby Lips: Target)

 Well how was your weekend?
Mine was busy as anything with homecoming and whatnot, but now I'm back to blogging and the normal routine...
So...October...aka the FIRST DAY OF FALL IN MY MIND (which means fall clothes)
so my choice was obvious: sweater!!!
Making it preppy by adding was a no brain-er is well because i love the look of a button down under a sweater and that's what i did here! some polished trouser jeans, (kinda busted up, but soon to be fixed) flats, bracelets, and adorable pink baby lips!
Now your ready to tackle a Monday,  no matter HOW tired you are or how many cups of coffee you need :)

Classy, Not Trashy

(Dress: Nordstrom's, Tee: Kohl's, Heels: American Eagle, Belt: Vintage, Necklace: American Eagle)

 Happy Friday!!!
So Sorry for not posting yesterday and late today. This is actually yesterday's outfit and let me explain why:
Homecoming season is upon us and our spirit week was THIS week. So we had our pep rally today (fun) and had to wear school colors...i am therefore unable to produce a lovely friday outfit for you. However, yesterday was a great one: Classy not Trashy day (fancy day)
So here was my dilemma: I dress fancy-ish every day!!! So what to do? Dress down a dress i wore to a wedding with casual heels, a black tee, and a cute braided belt. As you may notice, i was a good girl and made it fall-ish! Orange, dark red, black and tan are the perfect neutral pallette for fall...plus a few spicy colors too. This dress served me fairly well, wouldn't you say? plus, it has the CUTEST peplum-y frilly detail on the waist...LOVE IT!!!
Ps, if you see some clothes on the floor, this is what most of my room has looked like for a bit...i've only cleared a teeny spot on the floor for this...smooth birdy...real smooth.

Anyways, Happy Weekend!!!

i'm not sure what this is either, but it's also super pretty...love the color gradation!
So just like in my pigs post, i went to see my aunt who is also a farmer. She was doing a farmer's market and let us hang out for a bit and get some amazing organic veggies. We got probably one or more of each! You haven't tasted anything until you've tasted her stuff...it tastes so good.
so these pictures are of that
It really is sad though because their farm uses this really cool plastic for irrigation that biodegrades! and the other plastic they were using was filling up 4 dumpsters! So when they switched to this, the law says that you have to remove the plastic monthly and this plastic dissolved within 2 weeks.
So unfortunately, their organic certification was revoked but they still use the same practices which means they are organic and local, but they just aren't legally referred to as organic.
So i love food and so going to a market like this is nice because you get good food, and honestly, it's pretty too!
Happy Yom Kippur!

P.S, like the new blog design? Tell us what you think!!
