so now for answering those questions:
1) OPI...i have a drawer of it...
2) yup! soccer, lacrosse, summer and winter swimteam, and dance. im down to summer swimteam and dance...
3) uhhhhh right now i like "Anything could happen" by ellie goulding, but i dont have a super favorite artist or anything
4) uh well my fave hobby isnt nails...but i like styling clothes and just hanging around my family...and friends! i always have a good time :)
5) i just read Beauty by Lauren Conrad...worth the money...i read it twice in one day... love it!
6) my shark watch...whenever i dont have it, i look at my wrist all confused like...cant. live. without it!!!
7) having a style outlet!!! High schoolers dont always appreciate style...it's more like leggings, uggs, toms and sweatshirts and i kind of hate all 4!! plus all the support i get :)
8) i took french for 2 years, took spanish in kindergarten, and am currently taking, does any of that count?
9) wreck it ralph and yes...it was adorable...the next one i will be seeing is the hobbit!!! so pumped!!
10) do i have to choose? im obsessed with christmas!! i love every part...but my aunt always does this thing where a bunch of people go to her farm and we ride on a tractor and sing carols...and thats fun because all of  my family is there :)
11) only the most 2 precious labradoodle puppies ever...or they are to me :)

onto my outfit: 
i had a pow wow with a few buddies to decorate my christmas tree and a few brought me presents!!! One of which was this cute polka dot chambray shirt from old navy...i LOVE it!!
i have a chambray shirt, and i liked this trend but i want like DYING to get one, but i sure am glad i have one!!! I went bold with some hot pink jeans, which, coincidentally, was the same color shirt a guy in my section from marching band was wearing...
plus a cute belt and matching boots, and i was set
i have officially deviated from my 25 days plan, but it was SSOOOO worth it...no?

O my! the week is almost over!!
I went super casual because i had marching band and i wanted to stay comfortable but still look nice so i just wore jeans and a red flannel shirt. I put a green cami under this in real life, which made it much more lifelike, but still, you have to admit, despite the lumberjack-esque feel of the shirt, this outfit is pretty professional. The loafers and hair clip plus the cool chain bracelet definitely contribute. Tucked in would add to it as well because of how high-waisted the jeans are, which is what i did in reality as well. So there you go! i, Birdy, have created an outfit suited for a lumberjack, christmas, marching band, and being polished...mission accomplished.

50's gal...i think

This is also a day late, as was yesterday's post. Basically expect that from now until like next monday...
anywho!! i really take pride in this outfit. This dress isn't one that i usually wear because it was short when i bought it, then i got a lot taller and its even shorter!
I still love it though...so vintage! (mean girls moment!)
And because today was like 70 degrees, despite the fact that it's december (21 days to xmas...yea im  counting) and so i decided on a skirt. I just threw a denim jacket on the floor next to it and thought "hey an outfit!"
staying with the xmas theme, i added a red belt and some cute pins from jcpenny's giveaway they're doing. I loved how vintage the pins looked too!!! To finish off with a bit of a boyish flare, my old converse. I really loved this outfit and someone i sit next to me told me i looked like a girl from the 50's...i knew the outfit was vintage looking, but im kinda bad wiht eras so i can't verify if the 50's is right...anyone have any input?

So although this is only very subtly christmas, it is nonetheless. Red and white...candy canes...yea
i think this outfit pretty much revolves around the flats. The go with the top, but are also that type of plaid that kind of screams winter holiday, no?
And it seems that every time that i wear peplum, i get insane compliments!!! i should really wear peplum more often!!!
anywho, its actually tuesday...but this is my monday post...everything is gonna be pushed back a day this week...just an fyi!

25 days (more or less)

So you know how abc family does the 25 days of christmas movie thing???
Well, i am just SO excited for christmas, that i have decided to do my own sort of 25 days, by dressing in some sort of christmas-y outfit from now until christmas...i really am excited, can you tell?

so i am watching the ravens vs. steelers game as i type, taking little breaks to scream at the tv, then my dogs look at me funny. That's when you know football season is officially upon us.

so like i said above, i am beyond excited for christmas. I've begun to decorate, not only putting up the 7-foot tree in the family room, and decorating it, but the 12-foot tree is kind of up and i'm having a couple friends over to decorate that one and just have some fun
oh my and picking out gifts isnt too bad either!!! i love picking them out!
my favorite place to go is old navy because their stuff is affordable and i always find something that they'll love!!!

so can you blame me for getting in the holiday spirit? Not to mention, New Orleans is right around the corner! Today, after doing a parade, those who were going packed their marching band outfits away for shipment and it hit me and i had a mini excitement attack just at the thought!!! These holidays are what i've been looking forward to!!!
